How to customize a Contact Form 7 form

There are a number of ways to customize a Contact Form 7 form. Some of the most common ways to customize a Contact Form 7 form include:

  • Changing the form name

To change the form name, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to change. Enter the new name for the form and click on the “Save” button.

  • Adding or removing fields

To add or remove fields from a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “Fields” tab. To add a field, click on the “+” button. To remove a field, click on the “x” button next to the field that you want to remove.

  • Changing the form labels

To change the labels for the fields in a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “Labels” tab. Enter the new label for each field and click on the “Save” button.

  • Changing the form layout

To change the layout of a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “Layout” tab. You can change the width of the form, the alignment of the fields, and the spacing between the fields.

  • Adding custom CSS

To add custom CSS to a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “CSS” tab. Enter your custom CSS and click on the “Save” button.

  • Adding reCAPTCHA

To add reCAPTCHA to a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “Integrations” tab. Click on the “reCAPTCHA” tab. Enter your reCAPTCHA site key and secret key and click on the “Save” button.

  • Sending email notifications

To send email notifications when someone submits a Contact Form 7 form, go to Contact > Contact Forms in your WordPress dashboard. Click on the name of the form that you want to edit. Click on the “Email Notifications” tab. Enter the email addresses that you want to receive notifications from the form and click on the “Save” button.

  • Preventing spam

To prevent spam from being submitted to a Contact Form 7 form, you can use a number of methods, such as adding reCAPTCHA, Akismet, or a honeypot field.
